校長的話 - 迎接新歲，閃耀真我 —— 構建活力與關愛的家

親愛的家長、老師及同學們：

　　踏入2026年，一元復始，萬象更新。我謹代表石圍角小學全體教職員，祝願大家新年進步，家家幸福滿溢！新的一年，不僅是日曆上的翻頁，更是我們在「明道立德」的校訓下繼續啟航，實踐「讓我閃耀．Let Us Shine」願景的重要時刻。

回味無窮：從課室內到課室外的快樂足印

　　回首剛過去的2025年9至12月，我們共同編織了許多難忘的回憶。這幾個月，我們不僅在課堂上專注學習，更走進了「全方位學習」的廣闊天地。還記得不同外出活動時，同學們在戶外中展現的燦爛笑容；以及在平日的「全校運動日」、小息和課後活動中，大家舒展筋骨、歡笑嬉戲的溫馨場面。這些活動不單帶來了歡樂，更凝聚了班級的團結力量，讓校園成為孩子們第二個溫暖的家。

德育傳承：從「禮、孝」邁向「忠、惠」 

　　成才先成人，品德是教育的根本。上學期我們重點推行了九美德中的「禮」（以禮待人）及「孝」（孝親感恩），很高興看到孩子們漸漸變得謙恭有禮，懂得感恩父母。展望下學期，我們將承接這份美德，重點推行「忠」及「惠」。「忠」代表盡責守信，對人對事忠誠；「惠」則代表仁慈寬厚，樂於助人。我們期望石小的學生，不僅在學業上求進，更能成為一個有責任感、懂得關愛他人的良好公民。

感恩同行：致默默耕耘的守護者 

　　回看學校每一個精彩活動，從課堂教學到大型的校外考察，這一切的順利推行，絕非偶然。在此，我必須向我的好拍檔——全體教職員團隊致以最深切的謝意。活動的成功，全賴負責教師的精心策劃，以及全體老師不分彼此的通力合作。若沒有團隊的默契與付出，這一切美好的畫面都不可能成事。

　　教育是用生命影響生命的工作。在繁忙的教學與活動背後，老師們難免會有感到疲累的時候。然而，每當看見學生在舞台上自信閃耀、在學習上突破難關，這份滿足感便足以化解辛勞。這份「為了學生，堅持前行」的初心，正是石小團隊最寶貴的動力。

　　同時，我亦要衷心感謝各位家長。感謝您們對學校的信任與包容，成為我們最強大的後盾。您們的一句鼓勵、一份理解，都是對我們工作最大的肯定。

　　教育的路途上，感恩有這樣優秀的團隊與開明的家長同行。願我們在新一年繼續緊密攜手，用愛與汗水，為孩子撐起一片廣闊的藍天。

Dear Parents, Teachers and Students,

As we step into 2026, marking a fresh beginning with renewed hope, I would like to extend my warmest wishes for progress and overflowing happiness to every family on behalf of the entire staff at Shek Wai Kok Primary School. The New Year is not merely the turning of a page on the calendar; it is a momentous occasion for us to set sail once again under our school motto “Grasp Principles, Cultivate Virtues”, and to realise our vision “Let Us Shine”.

Endless Joy: Happy Footprints from the Classroom and Beyond

Reflecting on the period from September to December 2025, we have woven many unforgettable memories together. During these months, we not only focused on learning within the classroom but also stepped into the vast world of “Life-wide Learning”. I still recall the brilliant smiles on our students’ faces during various outdoor excursions, as well as the heartwarming scenes of everyone stretching out and playing happily during the “Whole School Sports Day”, recesses, and after-school activities. These events brought not only joy but also strengthened class unity, making the campus a warm second home for our children.

Moral Heritage: From “Courtesy and Filial Piety” to “Loyalty and Benevolence”

Personal character precedes success; moral character is the foundation of education. In the first term, we have focused on promoting “Courtesy” — treating others with politeness — and “Filial Piety” — gratitude towards parents — from the Nine Moral Virtues. I am delighted to see our children becoming increasingly courteous and more conscious of their gratitude towards their parents.

Looking ahead to the next term, we will continue to uphold these virtues by focusing on “Loyalty” and “Benevolence”. “Loyalty” represents responsibility and trustworthiness, being loyal to people and duties; “Benevolence” represents kindness, generosity and a willingness to help others. We hope that the students of Shek Wai Kok Primary School will not only strive for academic progress but also grow into good, responsible citizens who know how to care for others.

Gratitude for the Journey: To the Silent Guardians

Looking back on every wonderful school event, from classroom teaching to large-scale external excursions, their smooth implementation was by no means accidental. Here, I must express my deepest gratitude to my excellent partners — the entire teaching and staff team. The success of our activities relies entirely on the meticulous planning of the teachers in charge and the concerted cooperation of all teachers, working together seamlessly. Without this teamwork and dedication, none of these beautiful moments would have been possible.

Education is a vocation where life influences life. Amidst the busy schedule of teaching and activities, teachers inevitably feel exhausted at times. However, whenever we see students shining confidently on stage or breaking through difficulties in their learning, that sense of satisfaction is enough to wash away the fatigue. This core belief — “Although tired, for the sake of the students, we choose to persist and move forward” — is the most precious driving force of the Shek Wai Kok team.

At the same time, I would like to sincerely thank all parents. Thank you for your trust and patience towards the school; you are our strongest support. A word of encouragement or a gesture of understanding from you is the greatest affirmation of our work.

On this educational journey, I am grateful to walk alongside such an excellent team and such supportive parents. May we continue to work closely together in the new year, using our love and dedication to create a bright future for our children.
