校長的話 - 攜手同行，啟航新學年 —— 石圍角小學新篇章

親愛的家長、師生及朋友們：
踏入2025/26學年，我們香港道教聯合會圓玄學院石圍角小學繼續秉承「明道立德」的校訓，致力推行「道化教育」，在品德與學業兼備的全人教育道路上不斷前進。過去一年，學校積極投入課程創新與校園建設，持續展現全新的面貌。
在此，我很高興與大家分享，學校於上學年11月接受了教育局的校外評核，報告給予本校高度肯定，讚賞學校多方面的優勢，包括：
l 學生為本，課程廣闊均衡：
課程設計清晰有效，着重學生需要，特別「三模塊學習策略」（預習、展示、反思）成功促進學生自主學習和積極參與課堂。
l 語文與閱讀氛圍濃厚：
學生英語能力與閱讀興趣顯著提升，透過多元活動，孩子們在自信表達與語文學習上表現優異，校園充滿正向鼓勵的學習氣氛。
l 多元學習經歷，拓展潛能：
提供均衡且豐富的課程與活動，如文化考察、STREAM專題研習及體藝創新訓練，啟發學生的創意、解難和協作能力。
l 關愛校園，健康成長：
致力於打造關愛和包容的校園文化，學生尊重師長、關懷同學，積極參與運動及多元舞台活動，培養自信心和成就感。
l 品德教育根植校園：
重視培育正面品德，透過多元活動培養學生的誠信、尊重、責任感和同理心，幫助他們在學習和生活中成為有德行的人。
這些讚賞和進步是對全體師生努力的肯定，也是家長支持的最好見證。此外，校園設施亦不斷翻新，包括學校大堂、飛．航天地、STREAM遊樂場及多元活動室等，為學生營造活力與啟發並重的學習環境。
本學年，我們正式成為「騰訊青少年人工智能教育平台──AI種子服務計劃」先導學校，標誌着我們在學生創新科技教育領域邁出堅實的一步。展望未來，我們期待學生在這個充滿愛和啟發的環境中茁壯成長，全面發展成為德智體群美的優秀人才。
讓我們攜手迎接新學年，以積極的心態和無限的愛心，為孩子創造更多可能。新的一頁，新旅程，一切精彩，從石圍角小學開始。

Dear Parents, Teachers, Students and Friends,
As we embark on the 2025/26 school year, HKTA YYI Shek Wai Kok Primary School proudly reflects on our past achievements while upholding our motto: “Grasp Principles, Cultivate Virtues.” Guided by the essence of Taoist Education, we remain committed to a holistic approach that balances character development with academic excellence.
In the past year, our school actively invested in curriculum innovation and campus development, continually cultivating a dynamic learning environment. Last November, the Education Bureau conducted an external evaluation, which highly commended our school for the following strengths:
Student-Centered, Broad and Balanced Curriculum:
Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed around students’ needs. The “Three-Module Learning Strategy” — Preview, Presentation, Reflection — enhances self-directed learning by allowing students to take ownership of their educational journey and engage actively in class participation.
Rich Language and Reading Environment:
Students’ English proficiency and reading interest have grown remarkably. Through a diverse range of engaging activities, our children not only excel in self-expression and language development but also foster a lifelong love for learning, contributing to an encouraging campus atmosphere.
Diverse Learning Experiences:
A balanced selection of courses and activities, from cultural excursions to STREAM projects and creative physical and arts programmes, not only inspires creativity but also equips students with essential skills for the future, including problem-solving and collaboration.
Caring Campus for Healthy Growth:
We nurture a caring, inclusive campus where students respect teachers, support peers, and enthusiastically participate in sports and stage activities, promoting self-confidence and a sense of achievement.
Embedded Moral Education:
Positive character traits are promoted through varied activities, helping to cultivate integrity, respect, responsibility, and empathy, guiding students toward becoming virtuous contributors in school and beyond.
These achievements reflect the dedication of our staff and students, along with strong parental support. Our enhanced campus facilities — including the School Foyer, Aerospace Space, STREAM Playground, and Multi-functional Activity Room — create an inspiring learning setting.
This year, we proudly join the “Tencent Youth AI Education Platform — AI Seed Programme” as a pilot school, signifying an exciting new phase in technology education. Looking ahead, we are confident our students will flourish in this nurturing environment, growing into well-rounded individuals in moral, intellectual, physical, social and aesthetic domains.
