校長的話 - 勇闖挑戰．Shine My Way

親愛的家長、師生及朋友們：

　　歡迎大家重返溫馨的石小校園！新學年開啟，我們迎來全新的學習旅程和學校願景主題——「勇闖挑戰．Shine My Way」。

　　成長路上挑戰無處不在。新學年，學校首要關注於「深化正向價值觀，促進學生身心健康」。我們將承傳中華文化與加強國民身份認同，同時優化班級經營與學生賦權，營造正向欣賞的校園氣氛，並鼓勵大家實踐健康生活方式。面對新嘗試，請不要害怕失敗，勇於踏出第一步，每一次克服困難都是讓心智變得堅韌的養份。 

　　在學與教方面，學校積極「優化創新學與教策略，提升學生的學習效能」。我們不僅推動人工智能賦能教育以啟發創新與慎思明辨能力，更致力營造濃厚的校園閱讀氛圍，透過多元閱讀與跨課程學習擴闊視野，並打造多方位的成果展示平台，讓每位同學都能在自主探索中建立信心，發展不同潛能。

　　「Shine My Way」，每一位石小孩子都是獨一無二的光芒。「勇闖挑戰」，勇於展現自己、積極嘗試、堅持不懈，就能在屬於自己的舞台上發光發亮。

Dear Parents, Teachers, Students and Friends,

A warm welcome back to our cherished SWK campus! As we open a brand-new academic year, we embark on an exciting journey of learning guided by our new school vision theme — “Embrace Challenges, Shine My Way”.

Challenges are an inevitable part of growing up. In this new academic year, our primary focus is to “Deepen Positive Values and Promote Students’ Physical and Mental Well-being”. We will inherit Chinese culture and strengthen national identity, while optimising class management and student empowerment to cultivate an appreciative and positive school climate. We also encourage everyone to practise a healthy lifestyle. When facing new endeavours, please do not fear failure — be brave in taking that first step, for every obstacle overcome serves as nourishment that builds resilience.

In terms of learning and teaching, our school actively strives to “Optimise Innovative Learning and Teaching Strategies to Enhance Students’ Learning Effectiveness”. We not only promote AI-empowered education to spark innovation and critical thinking, but are also committed to fostering a rich reading culture on campus. Through diverse reading programmes and cross-curricular learning, students will broaden their horizons. Furthermore, we will create multi-faceted platforms for students to showcase their achievements, empowering every child to build confidence and unlock their full potential through self-directed exploration.

“Shine My Way” — every child at SWK is a unique light. “Embrace Challenges” — by having the courage to express yourselves, try actively, and persevere, you will shine brilliantly on your own stage.

In this new academic year, may we all move forward with courage and a positive mindset. Let us join hands to embrace every new challenge, showcase our unique brilliance, and shine in our own way!
